America is known as the land of all the opportunities and possibilities.
The reason for this is because it offers equal opportunity to people, values people that know what they really want. In other words, you can achieve your goal in life if you work hard enough for it and believe in yourself. Lately America`s view changed a lot because of the economic status of this country and the world in general. There have been a lot of people that have lost their jobs recently. All our jobs are at stake for the moment. The American dream turned out in trip to casino where you never know if you are going to win or to lose. None of us can predict for how much longer we are going to have our jobs. It is out of our control most of the times because we might be really good at what we are doing but the company is not making profit so it might be closing. As determined as we are to keep or jobs, there are other things that get into the equation that aren`t up to us. A great number of companies that find themselves in difficulty consider laying people off as the best solution. We also have to be aware that the economic harmony in every country is given by a certain balance between consumers and sellers, producers and service providers. Once that balance is broken (i.e. a lot of people losing their jobs) it is going to be hard to establish balance again. It all works as a vicious cycle. People losing their jobs are not going to spent money because they either don`t have them or they are trying to use wisely what they have saved. People not spending money had a direct impact on service providers, producers and sellers. Having less revenue to work with, the last category is going to have to cut some of their employees because they don`t really need all of them. The only way to get to stability in our life again would be to break this vicious cycle. Probably the best way we can keep our jobs for right now is to have a responsible and serious attitude about our jobs and accept the fact that we might lose our jobs for reasons that have nothing to do with us.
It is all a matter of luck in the end.
